I have the following information so far and need answers for parts f and g

a. NOPAT = Operating Income x (1 - Tax Rate)

Operating Income = 14,638 Million

Tax rate = 37%

NOPAT = 14,638* (1-0.37) = 9,221.94 Million

b. Net operating assets = Operating assets - Operating Liabilties

Operating assets = Current assets nd Operating liabilties = Current liabilties

Net operating assets (2012) = 31,358 -12,898 = 18,640 Million

Net operating assets (2011) = 25,872 - 12,028 = 13,844 Million

c. Return of Net operating assets (RNOA) = Net Income/(Fixed Assets +Net working capital)

RNOA for 2012 = 11,005/(27,893 +18,640)

RNOA for 2012 = 0.2365 = 23.65%

d. Net Non operating obligations (NNO) = Non operating liabilties - Non operating assets

Non operating liabilties (2012) = 13,136 + 3,412 + 3,702 = 20,250

Non operating Assets (2012) = Total assets - Operating (Current) assets = 84,351 -31,358 = 52,993

NNO (2012) = 20,250 -52,993 = -32,743 (Negative)

Non operating liabilties (2011) = 7084 + 2617 + 3479 = 13,180

Non operating Assets (2011) = Total assets - Operating (Current) assets = 71,119 - 25,872 = 45,247

NNO (2011) = 13,180 - 45,247 = -32,067 (Negative)

e. ROE (2012) = Net Income/Average shareholders equity

Net Income = 11,005

Average shareholders equity = (51,203 +45,911)/2 = 48,557

ROE (2012) = 11,005/48,557 = 0.2266 = 22.66%
