I just wanted to ask the post below is accurate. I should have asked the tutor for references, because I was trying to look up more about the post to study a bit more, but I haven't been able to find a lot of information about it. Is the post below accurate? If so, I will continue to do research and look more into it. Thank you.

I was asked from my professor to :

Select a company with an international presence that you are familiar with or by searching the internet.

Identify the laws, treaties, acts, and governing bodies (e.g. U.N., WTO, and IMF) that impact their business.

Explain the impact these laws, treaties, acts, and governing bodies have on their business.

Differentiate it with their business in the United States.

So, I asked a tutor for a good example and she/he posted:

There are several governing bodies which control the businesses all around the world such as WTO, IMF, etc. They significantly control the functions of businesses. Similarly, there is a significant impact of WTO on Toyota. The main function of WTO is to deal with the rules of trade between the countries. Thus, due to the rules defined by WTO, the business of Toyota is significantly affected. The organization can import and export the product according to the norms of WTO. The impact of WTO on the businesses can be positive or negative or both. With the help of WTO, Toyota has experienced growth in merchandise export. The export rate of the organization has increased as WTO protect the interest of the organization if the organization is following the rules and regulations of WTO. However, sometimes Toyota also experiences a negative impact of WTO on its businesses. WTO has raised the rate of tariff several times due to which the export rate of the organization has affected significantly. Therefore, it can be said that the business of Toyota is affected by WTO positively as well as negatively.

The impact of WTO on businesses in the United States of America is more favorable as the United States is a founding member of WTO. It provides relaxation to the businesses which are operating in the countries which are the members of WTO. Thus, it is more beneficial for Toyota to operate in one of the founding member countries like the United States of America. The businesses will not experience the burden of high tariff rate and barriers on the import and export of products.

Is this information accurate? I have only had one bad experience with obtaining the wrong answer from Course Hero, so I'm sure it is, but I still have doubts, without finding a website to break down this information.

Thanks so much for the help!
