There are several processes and strategies that are at the forefront of the changing business world. Sensemaking has been used in business for forty plus years. Clegg (2022) states: "Sensemaking is the process through which individuals and groups give meaning to something, especially to explain novel, unexpected or confusing events." Sensemaking is still needed to give an organisation an identity and purpose Digitalisation has seemed to be the most striking development in organisations in the 21st century. Clegg (2022) states:
"Digitalization is the use of digital technologies and of data (digitized from non-digital sources or originally created as such" to manage organizational processes. Most employees need to know their way around technology to survive and be productive within most organisations. And organisations have to keep an array of digital resources to gain an advantage amongst their competitors.
In terms of the way employees are treated, Managers have to be cognoscente of the rise in quiet quitting Quiet quitting occurs when employees stop giving maximum effort at their jobs before eventually quitting Managers have to be aware of their subordinates protecting their mental health at all costs. These days, many persons are not putting up with everything they are faced with just to keep a job. Mutual respect has to be the grounds management and staff stand on. An open line of communication is needed for this relationship to flourish. Personally, I will never mentally struggle to keep a job that stresses me out. If I had a different familial background or children my mindset may be different
