This could be daily, weekly etc. The areas you will focus on are: Water use Energy (gas and electricity) use Food waste 3.1 Using the tools, you selected in Task 1 or using any other suitable tools, you are required to measure and monitor the usage of gas, water and electricity in the TIV commercial kitchens/TIV Building premises for the designated period given by the assessor. To do this, you will need to take meter readings at regular intervals, review supplier bills (provided by your assessor) and observe resources usage of students/staff using the kitchen s/building facilities at least three separate occasions. If you use the energy bills provided by your assessor, you must attach those together with your assessment. Submit a copy of your completed data tools to your assessor along with a written description of your observations of resource use including any non- compliances such as leaving lights on or taps running when not in use.
