I need help with Constructive criticism of how to improve the paragraph.

Is there a clear topic sentence that includes the topic and controlling idea that is developed in the paragraph? Is the content appropriate for the audience? Is there a clear purpose (persuade, inform, or entertain)? Do the details and examples support the controlling idea found in the topic sentence? Is the main idea developed with the important events, actions, and details that make the story come alive? Are there important details missing? Do all sentences relate to the main idea? Are there irrelevant details? Is the paragraph well organized with a logical order? Are there transitional words and phrases that indicate time sequence to help the paragraph flow well? Is there a strong conclusion sentence that reviews the controlling idea and provides a strong ending? Edits

Have all contractions (can't, won't, didn't) been eliminated? Have all second person pronouns (you, your, yours) been eliminated? Are there spelling errors? Are there mistakes with commonly confused words (then/than, your/you're, there/their/they're, two/too, etc.? Is there incorrect punctuation? Are there run-on sentences or sentence fragments?

At the time it was just a vacation but now the beach trip of 2018 serves as a beautiful memory. Memories are all that remain when a loved one passes. Hilton Head Island is a picturesque island surrounded by protected landscapes and world renown golf courses. Relaxed wholesome vibes are felt throughout the town and this is part of what makes this place so inviting. Sitting on Coligny beach with my grandmother watching my children as they played in the sand, swam and giggled. Seeing the immense joy, they brought to my grandmothers' face was priceless. Sitting beside her soaking in the calm of the ocean and the sun set in the sky is where my mind often goes when thinking of her. My grandmother was very high strung and enjoyed being very active but as she aged and her health declined, she slowed down. I am reminded by these memories with her to myself slow down and take in all the small things the lord blesses us with because one day you may realize those little things are above all the big things. The beach trip of 2018 is a beautiful memory after all.
