I need help with my project. THIS IS A UNIX/LINUX PROGRAM NOT PYTHON!

Create a shell script called "helper" that presents you a menu of options and after you pick one, executes a command or program to carry out the desired alternative. After the process finishes, control should loop around for another presentation of the menu. Do not have your program re-invoke itself-- make it a big loop and be sure to clear the screen before presenting the menu each time. Include a "Quit" alternative on the menu to provide a way to terminate the menu program. Here is a simple menu--yours can have diffferent selections and alternatives.

UNI\X HELPER UTILITY

l -- list file names in current directory

o -- sign on this session

f -- sign off this session

d -- display time and date

b -- background job (See Note 1 below)

s -- interactive shell (See Note 2 below)

q -- quit

Each process that you select from the menu should print something on the screen so you can tell that it is running and make it execute long enough so you can see the message before the screen gets cleared again. After you get the basic running add the following features:

1: Add the main menu alternative "b" that runs a process in the background, a long sleep for example, so you get the menu right away and can make other selections while the background job is running.

2: Add the main menu alternative "s" that invokes another Bash shell so you can examine the process table, remove files, etc...,until you type "exit" at which time you'll return to helpers main menu. This needen't be complicated, just invoking a shell ought to do it.
