I need one good comment for my paper

Comparing McDonalds and Chipotle, I found very challenging as I have never eaten at Chipotle.I am basing my comparison for them on the reviews that I have read.

McDonalds is a fast food chain restaurant.They are known for their convenience and low-priced food.This is a good place for families to eat at since it can become very expensive to feed a family when going out for a meal.Every McDonalds has the same menu, no matter where they are located.This helps to let the customer know what they are getting when they order their food and helps to give recognition to the name.

McDonalds does a lot of advertising and even has an App that can be downloaded onto your cell phone, giving you access to coupons that you can use to help save you more money on your food.The food itself is of the higher quality when it is prepared accordingly.In the Positioning Matrix, I would place them as low-price and high quality.

In order for McDonalds to strengthen their profitability, they could look into ways of speeding up their service and order accuracy.Just a change in management for the locations that are lacking could make a big impact on their profits.If they feel like they would like to branch out, they could look into catering or even delivery.This could be a good thing as lots of people do not like to run after food.

Chipolte is a fast food Mexican chain restaurant.They have positioned themselves as offering fresh food choices that they make to customer specifications.The choices of their food are more on the healthier side.Prices at Chipolte are high, making it a hard choice for families on a low budget.

Chipolte does offer a rewards program that can be downloaded on your cell phone as well.For this program, you must acquire points in order to get a coupon.Based on what I have read, I would say that Chipolte is highly priced with low quality food.They do not advertise too much, making me wonder if their low quality could be the reason.

Again, based off of reviews, Chipolte needs a little help to strengthen their profitability.If I was to help this company, I would start at the top.By putting in place better standards and better training for their management and staff, they could start some damage control.Word of mouth can make or break a company, and their reviews are not good.From there, they need to start advertising so they can establish their brand in the market.Another good thing to do would be for the CEO to step in and start rectifying the problems brought up by their reviews.

At this time, I don't think that these two chains see each other as a competitive threat.Even though they are both in the fast food chain, one is the American staple of hamburgers and the other is of a Mexican staple. (505)
