Strategic goals evolve from the mission and vision of the organization. The chief executive officer of the organization, with the input and approval of the board of directors, establishes the mission, vision and major strategic goals. "By lightening the money supply now, the Federal hopes it can move more gradually and avoid disruptions" (Irwin, 2015). The concepts and information within the mission statement, vision statement, and strategic goals statement may not be identified as such, but they should be communicated to everyone who has contact with the organization. The strategy execution leader is responsible for the implementation of the strategic decisions. The strategy execution leader has the sole responsibility of implementing and executing the strategy and ensures that the strategic objectives are achieved smoothly with minimum hassles.

Implementing the corporate strategy requires a teamwork and this team is headed by the strategic execution leader. Each member of the team is responsible for the implementation and execution of the strategies. The team members are involved in the change management. "Les Brown article on scandal at NBC over alleged embezzlement and expense-account fraud by some executives" (Brown, 1979). The organization needs to understand the importance of each role that the members have so that it can delegate the strategic tasks for the effective implementation of the strategic objectives. Thus, the Leaders and the team members have an active role in implementing the strategies; leaders are responsible that the strategic implementation process goes well. As these responsibilities are based on overall team but Chief Executive Officer is finally responsible for strategy execution responsibilities, task implementation and executing the strategy that goes well. Chief Executive Officer is always working with a strong team which have different expertise, skills, experience and maturity level and team ultimately report to them.
