Your company uses an employment agency to solicit and pre-screen applicants to determine appropriate candidates for job opening. Your company is no way involved in how and what the agency does.
Once recommended by the agency your department further screens and then forwards to the relevant department head for final hiring.
You find in a review of the candidates recommended that 80% are white males under the age of 38 and that the workforce hired likewise reflects this ratio, being white males regardless of what job or department. The age level of white males in the workforce is higher due to longevity on the job that were however hired when under 40 years of age.
Does your company have any liability if the employment agency has been illegally discriminating? Fully explain.
