My family has a company that provide management service to government facilities. the company consists of many departments and for each department their is a cost center. The cost center is updated on a monthly base in order to know if the amount available is enough or not. For example IT and General Service departments each of them has it own costing. IT provide assets such as computers, monitors, and warranty service. Each item's price is deducted from the costing center. GS provides catering and transportation for the employees and those services are deducted from the costing budget. The reason Its considered as cost because the company is obligated to pay their suppliers and its deducted from their revenu
