1. Let's say that I'd like to test the null hypothesis that the population IQ mean is equal to 100. If I had access to data for the whole population (which, in reality, I do not), I would find that the population's IQ score mean = 100. However, for some reason, my sample's IQ score mean = 120 and the statistical test suggests that I should reject the null hypothesis. What is this kind of incorrect decision called?
