I think most people initially and sometimes still do have problems with Microsoft Words $2013$ ribbon interface, and I agree that is can be overwhelming at times due to all the tab options. Its good you had overcome some of the challenges you faced, and I think it's great to that you explored each tab I think its best, actually I still don't even know to use all the options available on the tab. Most importantly I think it is always good to ask for help if you need it$,$ I totally agree, also basic functions like text editing saving documents and basic formatting are the foundation to moving forward to more advanced features.
