It is desired to design a low-pass digital filter according to the requirements of pass-band frequency p, ripple 1 and stop-band frequency s, ripple 2. p=0.3,s=0.5rad/sripple1(S1)=0.15ripple2(S2)=0.1 a) Show the filter characteristics. b) Design a linear phase FIR filter with rectangular and Hamming window approaches. Explain step by step the approaches used. Show that the filter coefficients you designed meet the requirements by obtaining the frequency response of the filter. c) Obtain a digital filter from the analog filter by using Butterworth approximations showing the same properties. Use sampling frequency 3kHz. Digitize with the Tustin approach. d) Show the filter design with codes by making graphics in the matlab program
