I was going over the three P's of Business Sustainability and I came across something that I was curious about. I understand that there is an environmental pillar but is there any regulation for this? Is the government purposefully including this in business sustainability or is it simply up to the business to decide how sustainable they want to be? I know some businesses are definitely more environmentally conscious than others but I was curious about how much incentive there is to worry about the environment. It would actually make me feel better knowing if some companies simply do so because they want to solely benefit the environment.
