I would like to see if the following questions about the company could be answered. I am fully aware some of the questions may not be answered due to restrictions and/or company practices that are to be kept secret for various reasons. The questions are for the Tesla Motors Company:

1. What method of product/service costing is Tesla using, such as Job-Order or Process Costing and if applicable where in its annual report will the company report or disclose any information regarding its product costing method?

2. Does Tesla use plant-wide or departmental allocation base methods? Are you aware of the calculated pre-determined factory overhead rate?

3. If unable to answer Question 2, does Tesla use an activity-based costing method or is there any plan to switch to ABS? If so, why?

4. Does Tesla use the static planning budgeting system?

5. Does Tesla use the flexible budgeting system?

6. Does Tesla use the standard costing method to control and manage the cost structure within the company?

7. Is the companys income statement reported in its annual report based on absorption and/or variable costing method? If yes, does Tesla use the standard costing system in its annual report? Whether all the questions were answered or not, thank you for looking at the questions and for answering what were appropriate!
