Reflect upon a time you've dealt with a salesperson that made promises that proved false. Did you buy a car, a stereo, anything off of someone who swore it was too good to be true? Or, think about an advertisement that was so good it convinced you to visit a store or buy a specific product. In either case, were your expectations met? How so or how not? Were you ever skeptical? How was the salesperson or advertisement effective?
