I'm not sure on how to go about this question. how do I go about fitting this kind of data to regression model

"Dear New Employee, Welcome to Don's Diamonds. Please find attached* a data set on diamonds discovered on Vanuatan in the past 50 years. I believe that proper analysis of this data might help our new company better understand how we should set the price of diamonds we find and sell in future. I would love to do the analysis myself, but I just do not have enough time. I am only interested in the variables carat, cut, colour, clarity, coconuts , x, y and z', and how they influence the variable diamond prices. Please report back to me with a useful but parsimonious model within the next two weeks. I would also like a full interpretation of this model, as well as a justification as to why you chose the model you did. This justification is important, as I need to present this model to the Australian Diamond Board (ADB) on the 15th of June. Please also give me an outline of your methodology, as well as a brief summary of the variables in the data set - present this summary in a tabular form. Best regards, Don"
