Imbalanced Classes

What does it mean if our target classes are imbalanced?

a) There are far more input variables than there are target variables

b) We have to use the balancing function to remove any blank values

c) One of the target classes has a significantly higher proportion of observations than the other

d) One of the input classes or categories has a significantly lower proportion of observations than the others
