In a managers meeting (that you are attending as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) for the Messaging team) a dispute arises about the amount of time employees are spending on LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Reddit, Flickr, Swarm, Medium, SoundCloud, Tinder, WhatsApp, Slack, Facebook, texting and on-line gaming.

Upper management maintains that this pervasive social media is wasting productivity time by distracting employees from getting real work done. Proponents of social media are saying that this networking is helping them to solve problems, promote professional organizations and gives employees needed mental breaks throughout the day.

The networking team is seeing slowdown in the network as individual are streaming games, YouTube Videos and even live TV.
