On April 1, 2023, the minimum wage increased by 80 cents bringing the rate to $14.50 per hour. On October 1, 2023, the minimum wage increased by another 50 cents, bringing it to $15.00 per hour. This announcement has seen minimum wage in NL increase from$13.20 to $15.00 in 1 year; an increase of $1.80 per hour. What impact would this increase have on employers?
