In module seven you had an opportunity to explore team leadership and gain an understanding what constitutes an effective team and the characteristics of team excellence. Most importantly, team performance is dependent on a leader's analysis of the situation and the appropriate intervention and support. As you reflect on module seven the readings, videos, and discussion, respond to the following question:

What reading, video, or assignment stood out for you and why?

Take the Team Excellence and Collaborative Team Leader Questionnaire in Northouse (2019) on pages 397-398 and respond the questionnaire in regards to your role in a team whether presently or in the past. How you respond to the assessment of your team is based upon your mental model or how you view the situation. After completing the assessment, how would you describe your team's effectiveness? Do you believe all team members would agree with your assessment? What leadership actions would address areas of development, internal task, internal relational, or external? Does your team suffer from one or more team failure factor described by Clemmer (2017)?
