In my line of work, situations can change so quickly that people can often be asked to do things that don't align with their morals or values. It is important as a servant leader to empower employees to stay true to who they are and not feel forced to make a decision they do not feel comfortable with. Demonstrating I uphold ethical and moral values can establish my followership personally and professionally through leading by example, being honest, and showing I am a person who stands for what I believe in. "When employees are engaged, they become in fact more emotionally involved, loyal and productive, thus providing better customer service experiences, particularly in services-oriented firms." (Canavesi & Minelli, 2021, p. 415) Leading by example and demonstrating that I believe in and demonstrate my morals and values will increase the engagement of my followers and help them become more successful. How would you empower employees?
