In order to produce beetroot chips, $50g$ sweet beet root slices with a moisture content of $90\%$ were dried on a tray dryer. The mean thickness beet root slices were measured as $2\mathrm{.}5mm.$ Both top and bottom surface of slices were exposed to hot air during drying on a perforated tray having $2020cm$ dimensions. The following sample weight versus time were obtained in drying experiment.
