My ideal career is to be a Human Resources Specialist. Even though Human Resources does not require accounting skills, there are parts of this course that will help my career. From my research, Human Resources Specialists oversee and manage employees to make sure that they are following all regulations. CPA's are doing the same thing because they are managing people and businesses. They have to follow a code of conduct and make sure that they are following it. Accounting and the Human Resource Departments provide a great level of customer service and communication. When writing a resume, I would want to portray my experience and professionalism. I will use key phrases that relate to what they are looking for in the job listing. I noticed that a lot of business related jobs require at least three years of similar experience in the field. I know that I will have to work my way up to this position in a few years. I will then have the proper level of experience to be in an ideal career.
