This assignment is designed to give you an opportunity to learn from a professional in your field of interest and to reflect on your own career goals. Objective: To gain insight into a specific career field and gain advice from a professional in that field. Instructions: 1. Identify a professional in the field you are interested in pursuing. This could be someone you know personally or someone you found through networking. 2. Reach out to the professional and request an informational interview. Be sure to explain the purpose of the interview and your interest in their field. 3. Prepare a list of questions to ask during the interview. The questions should be focused on learning about the professional's experience, their career path, and their advice for someone starting out in the fieid. 4. Conduct the informational interview, either in person or over the phone. Take thorough notes during the interview to capture the information discussed. 5. After the interview, reflect on what you learned and how the intormation will be useful to you in your own career journey. 6. Write a report summarizing your interview, including the professional's background, their insights and advice, and how their experiences have shaped their career. Be sure to also reflect on what you leamed from the interview and how it will inform your own career goals. 7. Submit your report, along with a copy of your interview questions, to your instructor for evaluation
