In the case of Program A$,$ i enters the first loop iteration as $0,$ goes through case $0$ and prints it while increasing by $1$ to become i $=1$ and then goes to case $1$ and prints it while increasing by $1$ to become i $=2,$ but then due to the break it enters the second loop iteration where i is now valued as $2,$ but because of the loop condition $$while $($i $<2)$ the loop iteration stops as the condition is no longer true.
