In the HBP GM case we reviewed in our course, Eric Feldstein was considering action on three significant areas of concern. While there were varying degrees of financial exposure among the three items under review, all presented an exposure that might have an almost immediate or fairly near-term exposure to GM. Why do you think these things weren't foreseen and therefore seemed to surprise GM and Mr. Feldstein?
