In the organization I work for currently it has been a rocky road for a while. We changed electronic medical record software which slowed output. Then Covid 19 hit and a lot of the money-making ancillary services shut down in order to keep patients and staff safe and focus on the task at hand. Only necessary tests or services were performed which also slowed output and income. Just when we were crawling back from this our facility was attacked by Ransom ware. All computers or anything with communicating software were shut down. The facility did not pay the ransom and decided to rebuild the entire electronic medical record and PACS system. We were back to paper and hand carrying images to radiologists for almost 3 months. This was what put the final nail in the coffin. We had no choice other than be acquired by another facility. All of my 23 years of loyalty and hard work disappeared. I'm a little bitter if you can't tell
