in the reading, "The End of Protest: How Free-Market Capitalism Learned to Control Dissent" what does he mean when he gives the idea " by Alasdair Roberts he states at the end of the book (p.98) "This is not a doctrinally elegant combination of policies, but for the moment it works. It has allowed a globalized free-market economy to continues functioning. How long it will continue to work is a different question". What does this mean? I understand it's a conlusion but what does it mean?
