In the readings and video for the class on interprofessional practice, multiple strategies for effective interprofessional practice were covered such as: finding common ground respecting roles and backgrounds being explicit about the values your profession has and noticing when value judgements happen avoiding acronyms and jargon of your profession practicing self-reflexivity about your "disciplinary lens" surfacing assumptions that your profession makes about the world recognizing how history of the profession and the place impacts trust and collaboration.
