In this milestone, you will submit a draft of Section I (introduction) and Section II (verification plan) to include all critical elements. The introduction provides an overview of the IT problem you are addressing. When completed, it should provide sufficient context to facilitate quality feedback from the reviewing audience. Your draft Introduction will largely consist of the information from the system proposal and should continue to be updated as required. The verification plan (Section II) will describe how to verify that the system meets original design specifications, for example, by performing various tests that demonstrate functionality and performance. It should include a detailed feedback plan and comment adjudication guidelines. Prompt: Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed: I. Introduction: Present an overview of the problem that the project addressed, the significance this project has, and objectives that the project should have met. Much of this can be taken from the project proposal submitted in IT 415 but including any necessary alterations or adjustments you made during this course. The aim of this section is to provide context to the rest of the project closure document so that the audience can critically evaluate the completed project and provide feedback. II. Verification Plan: A verification plan will provide an organized way to conduct verification of the system, which can be done through execution of formal test cases that exercise the functionality and performance of the system. It can also include obtaining verbal feedback through focus groups, usability testing of prototypes, and other means. The following sections should be included: a) Feedback Plan: Construct a comprehensive plan for showcasing your system and collecting feedback from stakeholders. Explain what you will present as regular artifacts of the system to your stakeholders so you can obtain feedback. The stakeholders from whom you must collect feedback will vary depending on your IT issues. b) Criteria: Establish the criteria you will use to determine whether or not the feedback received is relevant and actionable. c) Test Cases: In this section, you will describe how you will (or would) test the implemented project to ensure it fulfilled all requirements and that the promised objectives/functionality were met. You will be required to fully test your system and supply the test results as part of the appendix of your project closure document, if implementation of your project is possible.

Problem Statement
RCC has no website. They dedicate a lot of time to their drug addict outreach program. They have saved hundreds of lives through their ministry program. They have taken mothers and fathers off the streets and helped them to recover from addiction and return to their families. This is a non-profit organization that is fully funded by volunteers, donors, and fundraising efforts conducted by the ministry recipients. Unfortunately, because RCC is a church based organization, they receive no funding from the government. The problem with RCC not having a website in place is that many addicts will never hear about the ministry that could in turn save their lives. Another problem with not having a website is the potentially hundreds or even thousands of dollars are being lost due to people not knowing about the ministry or being able to donate through a website. There is a real possibility that someday RCC will no longer be able to afford to go on with their important work. If the organization does not make enough funds to cover the ministry needs, they will have no choice but to close their doors to the public that desperately needs the services provided by RCC.
Need #1: RCC needs a website to boost donations
Need #2 RCC needs a website to reach more people with their ministry
Need #3: RCC needs a website to gain more volunteers
Significance
By having a website RCC will be able to reach others not only in the community, but worldwide 24/7. 99.9% of the entire world is now online, so you increase the odds of reaching out to substantially more people. RCC will be able to gain credibility through online feedback, implementation of social media, newsfeeds, blogs, or even newsletters to people that register. This will dramatically increase the exposure to the organization. RCC will be able to provide in-depth information to their audience day or night. The possibility of gaining a loyal following will increase as more people learn of the works the ministry does. Even more lives will be reached and families saved. Its likely that the donations will increase, since having a website will make it easier for donors to donate when they like without having to wait. The website will allow you to track your visitors and monitor the demographics, which would allow you to tailor your ministry to the needs of your visitors. As a free ministry, by providing your information to addicts online, you will stand out to private and costly drug rehabilitation programs. You will be able to drive traffic to your physical location by posting service information about the church (Simonds, 2007). Having a website will give you a large advert for a small amount of money. You can modify the information contained on the website at any time. You will lower the print costs simply by having to print less flyers and send out less mail, simply by having a website. Your website will be autonomous much like a robot, able to send information to ministry recipients, volunteers, and donors. You can opt to send instant automatic responses, allow people interested to sign up for either services or to volunteer. You can combine many of the marketing features to your website to create an all-in-one marketing campaign. You can partition the website to include exclusive sections that can only be assessed using a username and password that will allow you to communicate with staff, church members, and volunteers. You can post podcast of your worship services for all of the community to listen to or videos for them to watch (Smith, 2004).
Below is a quick break down of all the benefits having a website would provide to your organization.
Benefit #1: Provides an instant visual presentation and credibility
Benefit #2: Increase donations
Reach more people
Gain more volunteers
Can be found through search engines
Always available
Interactive, customizable, and practically autonomous
Can target each visitor specifically
(cbscreative, 2016)
Goals and Objectives
RCCs goal is to reach as many drug addicts as possible in hopes that recovery can free them from the bondage of drugs and give them a new chance at life. Their vision is to plant churches in every inner city. According to eMarketer, 2014, it is estimated that over 2 billion people worldwide are using smartphones on a regular basis. It is common practice for users to use their phones to research a company. A website provides an organization with credibility. It gives the users the information they may not be able to obtain otherwise. The goals and vision of RCC are increasingly obtainable with the implementation of a website. For years RCC has been relying on word-of-mouth to share their ministry with the community. Thus far, RCC has indeed touched hundreds of lives using this method. As we move towards a more technological day and age, RCC must consider that Social Media is the new word-of-mouth according to Stanislaw, 2015. With so many people surfing the web for the information they seek, to continue to grow and reach the maximum potential of addicts and donors alike, RCC must adapt, thus obtaining a website for their organization.
SNHU Project Team has outlined a number of goals to be reached in order to consider the project a success. Each goal has a number of specific objectives to be achieved to meet the goal.
Reach as many drug addicts as possible A website more addicts can be reached. Having a website will give a larger audience and potentially reach more drug addicts that can be restored through the ministry.
Raise enough money to plant Churches in every inner city A website will likely lead to increased donations.
Increased donations will provide the funds necessary to open churches in the inner cities.
Gain more donations and Volunteers to help with the ministry A Website provides advertisement 24/7.
The website will allow visitors to register to volunteer online or make online donations.

Methodology
The estimated timeline for this project is about 12 weeks or 90 days. Throughout the project, the waterfall methodology will be used. That consist of conception, initiation, analysis, design, construction, testing, and deployment, all in sequential order. Once the project is approved, conception will consist of:
Phase One: Gathering and documenting requirements
Phase Two: Design
Phase Three: Code and unit test
Phase Four: Perform system testing
Phase Five: Perform user acceptance testing (UAT)
Phase Six: Fix any issues
Phase Seven: Deliver the finished product (Lotz, 2013).
Phase one will consist of gathering all the requirements needed in order to move to phase two. These requirements consist of overall design layout, images, content, and software. During this phase a domain name will be acquired and several hosting options will be presented. After the organization has made their choice, an account will be set-up and prepared for use for phases four, five, six, and seven. During phase two the design will begin with a wireframe. This will be presented to the client in order for their feedback. Based on their feedback, a mockup will be created. This will essentially be identical to the actual website, but composed of images. Again, this will be presented to the client and any necessary changes will be made. After the design has been approved, phase three will begin. In this phase the images and content will be coded using the proper programming languages to make the website fully functional. The website will be uploaded to a test server where all links will be repeatedly tested to ensure the site is functioning properly. Upon satisfaction upon the test site, we would move into phase five. In this phase we introduce the test site to the organization and allow them to begin using the site on the test server. Here they can spot additional bugs or suggest any last minute changes they would like made. After approval we would move forward to phase six. In phase six any changes and bugs discovered in phase five will be corrected and the users will be able to review the site. This phase will repeat itself until the client is satisfied with the test site. Finally phase seven will be initiated and the website will be launched to a live server. The staff will be trained on how to use the CMS in order to update and maintain their website. They will also be given instructions on how to continue in the future with their web host. It is in this phase that the organization can announce the launch of their website.
Risks
The risks involved with the process of the project that could alter projected constraints include:
Not being prepared or having all the necessary materials before beginning the design phase of the project. This can lead to the project stalling and missed time constraints, or hidden costs.
Indecisiveness can cause the project to go over time and budget constraints. Requesting changes or edits after initial reviews can be a risk.
Having too many people involved in the decision making processes can cause the project to take longer and cost more.
Fixating on the minor details instead of the overall project can be a risk that can cause the project to go over time and budget constraints (Danielle, 2007).
After the website launches a few risks could be encountered including:
The website crashing or going offline
Security breech
Not keeping up with government regulations and laws regarding non-profit organizations and the way donations are handled.
See appendix #1 for the risk and mitigation matrix.
Project Summary
Restoration Church of Christ(RCC) is a local church with a ministry program that specifically targets individuals suffering from drugs. The church provides rehabilitation homes free of charge to anyone that enters the program. RCC relies solely on fundraising efforts and donors to finance its ministry. This is a proposal to RCC to contract our services to implement a website for their organization. As of now, RCC has no website and because of this RCC is losing possibly thousands of dollars in potential donations to aid in their ministry efforts. A website can make the vision of planting churches in the inner cities a real possibility. Even more lives can be restored through their mission if more funds were obtained. There are several benefits to having a website and minimal risks. Upon launch, RCC would receive a fully functional, responsive website that boosts credibility, provides information about the organization, and allows for ministry recipients to sign-up to the restoration program online, and allows for online donations. Within as little as six months after the launch of a website, RCC could begin to see results and increased traffic.
The design and development of the project is estimated to cost $2500
A domain name will cost anywhere from $10 to $30 dollars per domain.
Shared hosting can be obtained for as little as $12 for the first year, and additional years costing as low as $75. To host on a private server is a little more costly, but more secure and can support more data and traffic. Private servers range in cost around $1800 per year. An option in between shared hosting and a dedicated private server would be a virtual private server. This offers additional power and security compared to shared hosting, but slightly less than a dedicated server. The price for a VPS is around $360 per year.
