In your responses, take on the role of an HR professional and provide performance management recommendations that address the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats identified by your peers. Every successful company has strengths or would not be considered successful in today's market. A company that understands its weaknesses can turn those into strengths because it understands what needs to be fixed for the company to change these weaknesses into strengths. This SWOT analysis breaks down the company into basic categories that help identify what it is good at, what it needs to work on, the opportunities it has in the future, and the threats that compete with the company. Our HR department is an invaluable asset to Oncor. They are constantly pursuing that our company has the top talent and doing everything in their power to keep the incentives top tier. According to Youssef-Morgan (2015), "HR identifies the right business criteria that directly relate to the size of the labor force." Without a solid HR department, the employees will feel undervalued and will not want to continue working for a company that does not consider its employees' well-being. HR can look at this SWOT analysis and break down what the company needs to be successful and help stakeholders. HRM understands ever-changing rules and regulations and employee satisfaction, leading to a cohesive company that people will want to work a career with instead of a job.
