Individual Assignment (20%) Dear All, as we have discussed, knowledge management is the collection of methods relating to creating, sharing, using and managing the knowledge and information of an organization. It also refers to a multi-disciplinary approach to achieve organizational objectives by making the best use of knowledge. At its broadest, knowledge management can be divided into strategic and operational knowledge management. Having this supposition in mind, knowledge management can also be seen as explicit and tacit knowledge. Explicit knowledge is knowledge that is straightforwardly expressed and shared between people. It has been clearly documented in a tangible form, such as a standard operating procedure or a marketing report. On the other hand, tacit knowledge is knowledge that we possess and garnered from personal experience and context. It's an information that, if asked, would be the most difficult to write down, articulate, or present in a tangible form. Hence, using Zack knowledge management Model and other indigenous knowledge management practice, evaluate your organization knowledge management practice. In doing so you are expected to apply the primary components of Knowledge Management. Each step should follow with rigorous validation, critical investigation and your professional ways for ward.
