Introduction Successful leader come in all shapes and sizes and so two leaders can never be the same just as no situation or workplace is the same. While it is okay to say that servant leadership is the most effective form of management style, it does not any way explain how a manager can effective. Therefore, that is where the personal leadership development plan comes into place. Personal development plans are very important as they are readily accessible as both guidelines and reminders of the goals that one has set for them. This paper will thus look at five leadership concepts and describe them in terms of how important they are and how they apply at a personal level. Besides that it will also discuss the various ethical aspects of each of the leadership concepts selected as they relate to personal leadership style. Finally it will describe how I personally plan to incorporate these elements into my leadership style/ development (Alvesson, 2010)
