Determine the required torque at the above-mentioned load condition, Assuming the spindle thread is (M35 x 6mm PITCH RH THREAD (SS-316) ANTI CLOCKWISE CLOSING) and that the door nut material is Aluminium Bronze with a spindle-to-nut friction coefficient of 0.2
Also, determine the rim pull (tangential force in Newton to the rim of the hand wheel) at this load condition, assuming that the Actuator has an internal Handwheel to drive nut gearing ratio of 8:1
the internal gearing efficiency is 85%
handwheel dia is 300mm
Actuator Assembly has a mass of 55.90 kg
