It is now the last Friday in August, and Mr Diffident has been asking Mr Docile daily when he might be ready to sign the audit report. As the accounts seem to be in order, and with Mr Docile putting pressure on you to finish the working papers and hand them to him so that he can sign off the audit. You finish tidying up, and prepare to give the working papers to Mr Docile first thing Monday morning. You decide to go for a drive to the snow for the weekend. As you drive up the highway that Friday evening on your way to the snow, you see a container truck in front of you. IN the beam of your headlights you recognise it as the container that was stolen from DMC. You draw alongside the truck and recognise Mr Cozener driving and Mr Diffident in the passenger seat of the truck. You continue on your way to the snow, and then return to the office on Monday morning after a refreshing weekend skiing.
