It is required to undertake a research assignment illustrating the advantages and challenges of the application of innovative ICT-solutions in information management (IM) that led (or may lead) to CW is in moderation process and a subject to possible minor change better strategic positioning of a certain business in the global marketplace. Part B requires to focus on the application of emerging new ICT-solutions and/or digital services.

It is required writing an individual essay on the role of innovative ICT-solutions in the information management analysing in a business practice OR comparing practices of two businesses (traditional or digital) in the global marketplace

The research is only to be conducted using secondary data. Research using primary data is not required. The approach should be analytical and critical, applying the theoretical frameworks (as explained below), contrasting ideas from different authors, discussing perspectives, and elaborating arguments with substantial information from relevance sources. As an author, should assume that it is an academically oriented commercial consultant. Part B Contribute to the national digital policy development discussing within a certain theoretical framework how the use innovative ICT-solutions in information management by the local business to build a sustainable competitive advantage in the current marketplace, considering digitalisation, digital transformation, globalisation of ICT-solutions, glocalisation of strategies and protection of national/regional markets, and critically analysing the opportunities and prerequisites of one of the following issues related to Uzbekistan:

• E-commerce development: problems and their solutions. Analysis of Start-ups and IT-project developments. Proposals on promotion of venture financing. Analysis of Uzbekistan legislation for the development of IT industry; Proposals on improving conditions for the establishment of world-leading IT companies offices in Uzbekistan; Development and research on methods to evaluate the quality of electronic services.
