Q4 (a) Amin, Imran and Shahid agreed to act as sureties for Emmad to Saleem and agreed to pay Rs. 20, 000, Rs. 30, 000 and Rs. 40, 000, respectively, in case of default by Emmad. On such surety. Saleem lent Rs. 90, 000 to Emmad. Emmad repaid Rs. 6, 000 only. Saleem called upon the sureties to pay the balance of Rs. 84, 000. Keeping in view the Contract Act 1872, discuss how much should each surety pay.

(b) X agrees to sell to Y, 2,000 kgs of mangoes @ Rs, 15/- per kilo, if such quantity is produced in his farm in the next season. Give short answers with proper reasoning for the following questions.

1. What type of agreement is made between X and Y?
2. What is the kind of goods dealt within this agreement?

(c) A is a minor, and B is a professional billiards player. A agrees with C, a leading professional player, to go on a world tour. Competing against each other in matches, A was to pay a certain sum of money to C for this purpose and also for the purpose of learning the game. C made all the arrangements for the matches and spent the money but A refused to go. C sued A and claimed damages for breach of the contract. Discuss the legal position.
