The developer, though it knew this, did not disclose the presence or degree of contamination from the company's practices. Jake, his family, and many neighbors are suffering from an unusual number of health problems, but the developer/firm refuses to disclose what it knows, and the company no longer exists. Why does the law allow this to happen, and are there any changes that you would recommend?
