Janelle was in the mall and saw Kyla walking ahead of her, looking in store windows. Janelle saw Kyla using her smartphone and watched her put it in her purse when she had finished her call. Janelle came up behind Kyla and grabbed her purse. Kyla and some witnesses say that Janelle wrestled Kyla for her purse, finally tearing it out of Kyla's hands.
