John Smith and his girlfriend Jenna took a trip to San Francisco to explore and also to scuba dive. They stayed at a nice hotel downtown San Francisco. They go to CWU. On the day of their scuba diving trip, they stored with the hotel, all of their belongings as they were going on the trip to scuba dive and also were checking out of the hotel. They were given a check number to pick up their belongings when they returned that day. Upon their return, their belongings were not to be found. When the hotel management checked the video surveillance, they saw the room check person take someone back into the storeroom and the person they took back, removed John and Jenna's belongings and walked out. No check number was provided to the room check person. John and Jenna's license, credit cards, keys to the car rental etc. were all taken along with their laptops etc. When they approached the hotel, they were told that they could stay another night for free.
