July 3 We purchase 125 units of product at a cost of $4 per unit. Terms of the purchase Are 2/10,n/30. The invoice is dated July 3. July 10 Harriet Company discovers that 30 units are damaged but are still of some use and, therefore, keeps the unit. We send Harriet a credit memorandum for a total of $90 to compensate them for the damage. No product is physically returned to us. July 11 Harriet Company sends us a check for the amount due. July 12 We pay for our purchase from July 3
