Kendi and Sara provide job training and on-site support for the same adult learner. One of their responsibilities is to interact with the learner's boss and coworkers to help facilitate the learner's productivity and participation. While working with the learner, both have experienced and observed repeated sexist, racist, and ableist comments made by the learner's boss toward them and the learner. Kendi and Sara have reported these comments and their concern to the BCBA supervisor, who stated that the learner is working "within a different type of environment" and they will have to become accustomed to these types of comments
