Using your car own dashboard (odometer for the distance & speedometer for the velocity)

Concert miles to meters and mi/h to m/s. Please write all physics quantities in the SI system.

• Measure the distance and time when you travel from home to your job and come back home.

Determine the following:

a) Distance.

b) Displacement.

c) Average speed.

d) Average velocity.

• Record the velocity that you have when you approach a traffic light (with the speedometer) and the time to stop in the red light.

Calculate the average acceleration.

• Look for the distance between Miami and Orlando. This is a long trip, if you set the Cruise control at 70 mi/h, how long would it take to get to Orlando?
