Leadership isn't about dictating, demanding, or threatening an employee. Rather, leadership is about inspiring and motivating those around us. A leader doesn't have to be someone in an authoritative position (i.e., your supervisor). A leader could be the person sitting next to you doing the same job, but they inspire you to succeed. Often, we may feel restricted within the workplace, not by a leader who inspires and motivates us to be successful, but rather by a boss who dictates our actions. The biggest issues in most organizations is communication and trust.
