Leadership Journey - Part One Begin the assignment by completing these sections 1. Start with a cover page, complete this assignment in word 2. As a group decide and describe the five leadership qualities that you feel are most important to great leadership. These can be from the 10 qualities discussed in Chapter 3 of our text or 21 leadership qualities PPT slides in Moodle. Provide examples as required to explain your thoughts. 3. Each group member will identify the leader/person that has had the greatest impact on your own personal leadership values when you were a child. What values did they teach you through their actions and behaviours? This should be a person who directly taught you as a young child (eg. parent, grandparent, sister, brother, earliest teacher) and you directly observed. Which of these leadership values are most important to you as a leader in your family, community, and career? 4. As we have discussed we are all leaders when we influence others. Give some thought to your personal leadership style and your current skills and abilities as a leader. Each group member is to identify your greatest strength as a leader and a key area for improvement? 5. Vitality is a key quality of an effective leader.
