Peter was driving his car along the Nathan Road and discussing with his front seat passenger, David, the football match that they had watched the previous night. Both had just consumed a considerable amount of alcohol. Peter failed to see that the traffic light had turned red and knocked down and injured Angela, a pedestrian crossing the street.
