One of the guidelines that can be used for this type of reporting is the Global Reporting initiative (GRI) guidelines which provides significant detailed guidance on what and how to report. After the issue of the Juducuak Commission of Inquiry into State Capture Reports (Zondo Reports), the focus on corruption in both public and private sectors in South Africa has increased. The Global Reporting Initiative(GRI) issued a standard in 2016 called GRI205: Anti-Corruption 2016 to assist organisations in thinking and reporting about anti-corruption activities. It contains guidance in terms of how management can approach disclosure in terms of anti-corruption acitvities as well as topic-specific disclosures in this regard.
