1. Let T be the transformation, 50 % Shear in the x-direction. Write down the matrices 1 for T and T^(-1) .

2. Apply T to the image circuitBoard.tif. Now apply T^(1) to the output of the above. Compare the original and final image side by side. Why are they different? What can you do to make the final image the same as the original?

3. Do what you discussed in (b) so that T followed by T^(1) gives the original image. Now apply this 10 times sequentially to the image circuitBoard.tif. Discuss the quality of the final image.
