Max is 20 years old and lives with his parents. Max has schizophrenia which is a serious but treatable mental disorder. Max's parents are concerned about their son's unusual behaviors as of late. He has not been taking his medications and they are concerned that Max may be a danger to himself. They call the police who attend and speak to Max, however Max is not displaying any behavior that would lead the police to immediately fear for Max or anyone else's safety. Max does not wish to go to the hospital for assessment or speak to a doctor. What conditions would have to be met for Max to get a Community Treatment Order (CTO) to assist Max in living with his parents or independently. O Max would have to have been a patient in a psychiatric facility for 30 days in the last three years O Max would have to have been a patient in a psychiatric facility on two or more occasions within the last three years Max has been on a Community Treatment Order within the last 3 years. Any of the above
